Reto was raised in a small town in Switzerland. Even as a small child, he was surrounded by all sorts of pets and farm animals. His favorite childhood pet was his Long Haired Dachsund, Heike. He moved to San Francisco over 20 years ago and now calls it Home. In his household, he lives with his partner, 2 dogs and a slightly nutty cat.  Before starting Paws Made for Walking, he managed 2 succesful high-end salons in San Francisco. His job took him away for long hours and left his pets at home. In a city with so many hardworking people with long days, Reto decided to start a pet service business. The City is in such demand of loving care for dogs when owners are occupied. Reto aims to provide a service with love, activity, and adventure. 

Also, as of July 1st, 2013, every professional dog walker in San Francisco must be licensed to walk dogs.  Reto is a graduate Doc*Tec and certified in Pet CPR & First Aid. Paws made for Walking is a registered business with the City and County of San Francisco. We are Bonded and Insured.
